Very true. The first time I saw an f32 from the back I just about lost it! So wide and low in appearance. I like it. When I see f30s, they look very nice, but do not have the same....presence...

Agreed. I think the problem is people are basing their opinions on the M3/M4 photos in comparison with their real life experience with the E9X Ms. When you only compare the photos you see there is as much, if not more of a difference with the new Ms compared to the base models as any previous generation.

Looks better than the M3. Possibly way better. This car has presence.

"Seems photoshopped" - talk about the ultimate compliment.

M3 has never been a radical departure from its 3 series counterpart (especially in M Sport guise), and that has never been a bad thing. I'm sure in person, the M4 will have presence, all M3s of the past have. Austin Yellow is very flattering on this car!

Spot on.

Although--to be fair to the E92 M3--these "comparison" pictures were hand selected to make the M3 look as much like the 335i as possible. That angle for the M3 hides most of the distinguishing features (power dome, carbon fiber roof, minimizes the visual impact of the fender flares).

So far I love this car! I like the idea of having black wheels from factory so I don't have to get them powdercoated in black.

Some of you need to drop the fanboy act a little.

This generation M3/4 has fewer original/unique parts compared to the base 3/4 series than last generation. So not sure why some of you are pretending the opposite is true.

Also how about we see some pics that arent photoshopped of the M4. So far the real untouched pics of the M4 have looked horrible. Im not saying this just to blindly hate, I think the new M3 looks amazing for a sedan. However, the M4 so far is underwhelming.

its weird because when you look at the pics you can see the similarity. but when you see the cars in person. the M3 does have a aggressive stance, and more sporty look to it. its something you gotta see in person. stock for stock.

the 335i is a good looking car at the end of the day. lets not forget that!

once i see them both in person i can then judge.
(different subject)
I do know this. i have seen the 435 in person. i think my E92 ZCP looks better than a 435i. BUT the M4 could and most likely going to be a whole different ball game.

The M3 is easily distinguishable from normal 3s in person. Just looks so much more purposeful in the way it occupies its space. I'm gonna guess this will be the case for the M4 as well.

It is a waiting game! There is only so much pics can give us. Seeing a car in person is always a better indication of how it looks. I'm admittedly not a fan of how a base 4 series looks at certain angles, so I am anxious to see how the M4 turns out.

I like the overall shape but have reached a plateau on feeling the bumper design...maybe in person. I think darker colors might mute it a little. Luv the CSL boot!

Looks good, however it's so beefy that the wheels actually look too small both in height and width. Though probably not optimal for racing or ride I think it would look a heck of a lot better with 20s 295s and half an inch drop.

I just googled E92 M3 and E92 335i and took the most similar photos I could find in 2 minutes. No "hand picking", but I agree that the M3 photo somehow hides the hood bulge.
