I just ordered the blue carbon fiber tips from x-ph. Looking forward to getting and installing them. 😁

Rumor has it BMW is going after copyright violators with hefty fines. This isn't first hand knowledge, but wouldn't be surprised with the amount of tips that now use the ///M logo to some extent.

For those of you concerned about the length of the tips, I ended up getting the longer length (120mm) and then notching them with a Dremel to fit over the stock exhaust pins. This allows for you to adjust how far you want the tips to stick out.

FYI, 120mm tips stick out way too far. Looks ridiculous.

I know the notch is not pretty, but its on the top of the tip and tucked way under the bumper, so you will never see it...

My notch is roughly 10-15mm allowing me to shove the tip on the stock exhaust farther, thus tucking them in so they are flush with the bumper. Without the notch, they stuck out way too far.

How did you get the clamp to get passed that notch on the muffler tip though? I want to do this same mod, but I couldn't figure it out.

I went to a muffler shop and they were able to take the notch off for $20. Literally took them 5 minutes.

I would also check out BimmerPlug. I put up a small review a bit ago about their exhaust tips for my MPE. Fit great!
