M-Peformance front lip installed. With a slight twist..painted CF splitters

Love the way the M-Performance lip looks but not a fan of the all-carbon splitter look on Alpine White. I think it looks too dark and hides too much of the factory bumper shape.

Here is my take on the M-Performance lip, let me know what you guys think. All opinions welcomed. For me, it turned out exactly how I wanted, still shows the shape of the bumper but has just a bit of carbon showing for that subtle aggressive look.

To spend that much on a set of splitters only to cover up the area where it's most visible is pretty nuts to me. But to each his own. It looks good though and props for being different.

Looks good, but why cover up all the visible CF? Seems like a waste to me.

I'm partially in agreement. Partially white/CF looks great on the splitters, but I think the lip would have been better left 100% CF instead of painted.

I have the M-Performance matte lip, if I had purchased the CF version I definitely wouldn't have painted that.

Thanks for the comments fellas. I think the full unpainted carbon splitters looks great on every color except white for some reason to me.

I was definitely contemplating this for a long time, even at one point I was considering getting a knock-off set because I was going to paint the whole thing. I just didn't want fitment issues so I went with OEM ones, felt bad to paint the whole thing so I came up with this solution.

Interesting, but....since the splitters are EXACTLY the shape of the part of the bumper they cover, painting them in factory color is a bit like installing a CF side mirror cover and painting it OEM, isn't it?

If the splitters were a different shape than what they cover, then sure, it would look quite good.

Looks good .. I think if you get some AW color matched front reflectors it would finish up the front end with a nice clean look.

They're actually quite differently shaped, they extend much further out especially near the bottom. They're also required to install the M-Performance lip, without them there will be a big unsightly gap.
