I switch back and forth, but feel the red seems to go better with the steering wheel buttons

How does it look in person? Does it look aftermarket? Can you see the glossy finish of the vinyl?

Yes it does look Aftermarket. Unless BMW starts pushing these out, which won't happen seeing the new clusters being electronic, it will always have the feel and look of an add on. The blue I have is actually more a matte finish. I personally like it, but i would understand why many wouldn't.

Not hard at all make sure you're battery is off through the entire process Just got the 3D shifter paddles from another fellow forumer but they're getting repainted soon. That's why it's off color I know someone will ask Shout out to Raphael from EuroCustomsPR who helped me out with install |

Just pull it towards you and down as far as possible then take out the two screws holding the instrument cluster. Disconnect cables and you're good to go. The numbers have to be lined up perfectly or you will get a hazy appearance with the numbers It comes with installation instructions so you should be good Illumination is much dimmer than stock but shouldn't be too bad if you line up all the numbers nicely |

I did find this however: https://www.heiler-tachodesign.de/Sp...016-Mph-to-Kmh It appears that you can really customize your gauges but they wouldn't response to my 2 emails that I sent months ago so I'm hesitant to make a purchase. Anyone tried them before? |

so... these are just the stickers that go over the current gauge faces? How's the removal process?
