Very straightforward working with the car on a lift. OEM pipes removal is what makes the overall install a little hard since the cats are huge. The AA pipes after that just slip in no issues.
Keep in mind it will cause a CEL so a tune/exhaust module is required |

If you don't want a CEL, I have heard from a couple forum members these work well: http://www.bigdaddiesgarage.com/mini-cat-cel-fix.html
One of them has been using it for 2 years now on his M2 and no issues. |

AA midpipe will not throw a cel with stock downpipes. I have had it on both of my f80's and never got a cel. Keep the primary cats and you will not have a problem.

I installed VRSF downpipes 3 days ago. Did it in my garage with just the passenger side lifted. Pretty straight forward. Unclip the front o2 sensors from the engine bay which is located underneath the charge pipes. Very little access below to break lose the o2 sensors. V-bands will be clamped on pretty good after loosening the 13mm. Use a long extension and tap it loose. With the exhaust, I took off the center support and also the 2 rears rubber support which are colored red held by 1 13mm bolt each. This gave me plenty of room to maneuver the downpipes in/out. As far as the secondary o2, I installed spacers from amazon which were $10 for 2. No CEL yet. I'm also running JB4 so not sure if that eliminates the CEL but according to the new revision, JB4 no longer deletes codes automatically.
