Winter Tires & Wheels ZCP/CS

Greetings,

I'm in the market for F80 ZCP and CS (w/out CCB) and have question regarding winter tires. For those in DMV area, do you keep (winter) tires in stock size or downsize?

For CS owners - given the staggered configuration did you go with same size or downsized to 18' & 19" (F&R) tires?

BMW site lists Continental Winter Contact tire/wheel package [Wheels: Style 640M - Front: 8.5Jx18 ET27, Rear: 9Jx18 ET29; Tires: Continental Winter Contact TS830P - Front/Rear: 255/40R18 99V XLre ] I would appreciate feedback on this setup and others.

For my ZCP I have a set of 437M with ExtremeContact DWS 06 in OE sizes 255/35ZR19, 275/35ZR19. I don't go out when there's more than 2 - 3 inches of snow on the ground and roads around me are plowed quickly so it's fine for what I do.

Go with 18s (640M) as they ride a lot better and easier to find used locally

I just use the stock 19 in sizing. Similar to a post above, I don't drive the car in extreme conditions.
