Is there a guide to update only the DME ?

Long story short, I paid the stealers to update my I-Step last week, which was fine.

When I got the car back I reflashed my BM3 Stage 2 map, but what I didn't realise was that I needed to contact BM3 first to get them to wipe my account and give me a new activation code.

So I have now downgraded my DME back to November 2014 software

Obviously I don't want to pay the stealers again to update the software again as it's just the DME that was downgraded so i'm looking for a guide on how to update just the DME on it's own.

All the guides I see are for other ecu's and not the DME and they all mention dependencies need to be update too.

Also one last thing, do I need to use the same PSdZdata files as the stealer would have used (4.19.30) or could I use 4.18.14 which I believe contains the same DME version as my car was updated too by the stealers, or would this then change the I-Step version of my DME to an older one causing a mismatch ?

Sorry for the newbie questions but I have only used E-Sys for coding in the past and not programming.

You can flash only DME - same as every other control unit.
If whole car is 4.19.30 I would download full psdzdata and just flash DME to this version. Anyway, you will see after E-Sys calculation which modules are updated and which need update.

It looks like 4.19.30 is not possible as all links on Mega have been removed and I can't find a torrent for it.

So I will either have to use 4.18.14 or wait until there are full PSdZdata files for 4.19.40

You could also flash with 4.18.14. I don't see any problems here.
