Lambda sensor broke after 55km
Picked up my M3 last Thursday afternoon. After 55km i stopped to have a thorough look at the car. After restarting the engine the yellow engine light came on and stayed on. Check control showed everything is ok. Returned car to dealer same day and since then drive a replacement 3 series. One of the four lambda sensors is defective and a replacement is only available September. Dealer promised to do anything possible to get it sooner and said on Monday it would arrive by today. Today i got the message that it will come next week, but no promises are made...
Already escalated it to BMW customer services but looks like i need to be a little more patient.

First world and first model problems no doubt.
I hope your car is fixed fast.
