Boot adjustment

Hi my boot doesn't always open when I press the button - can you adjust the tension or something?

I had this on my M3. Dealer sorted it. Not sure what they did mind.

Mine stopped opening fully when I put the carbon spoiler on, which is quite ironic fitting all that lightweight carbon to make the car heavier.

Sometimes it does open though but not generally if it hasn't been opened in a while.

I have a carbon spoiler as well.

You can adjust the spring tension for the boot release behind the carpet. There are 3 tension levels depending on whats fitted to the boot.

Occasionally it would too but 8 times out of 10 it wouldn't, like I said light weight carbon fibre...
