I mentioned this elsewhere, but I'd unload my $721 M3CS (w/MSD) for $5k cash to me, but only b/c I would need a crazy ROI to justify unloading it. I honestly cannot find anything currently (and for what I'm paying) that would make me transfer it.

I just took over a SMB M3 CS lease last week, the payment was $870 before tax. Biggest attraction to me was the $0 down payment.

Most people are deterred by the down payment in my opinion because they don't plan to keep these cars until the end of the lease, so paying $XXXX up front when you can find one for a little more per month is usually more attractive.

That being said, this is still a great deal, the M3 CS is a great car, and this seller was very helpful with me before I pulled the trigger on the one I went with. GLWS

I have multiple interested buyers who are fine with the payment and just haven't worked out yet for one reason or another. I've also received multiple offers for $0, and they ended up getting other cars after I turned them down.

I'm in the same boat as you. If I said $0 out of pocket, I'm confident I could find a buyer in a day or two. But it's tough to find this much car for the money, so I'd only move on if it makes sense. I also don't need to sell it in order to buy the next car.

All that being said, it's $3,500 OBO so I'm happy to entertain serious offers.

Thanks! Congrats on getting a great car for a great deal. Hope you're loving it so far.

You're right - this deal isn't for everyone. But neither is a CS. I'm always happy to explore win-win options with a serious buyer.

Bump - Not a bad deal here - lots of these on SwapLease for $1000 to $1200: month. I've seen $1400 even.

Not bad financial decisions, they just can't negotiate. If I really wanted to unload my CS, it would be gone in a day given my deal.

BTW, don't get all sucked in by the Tesla M3P hype, bc once you really look at how the car is assembled and the quality, you'll be impatiently waiting for the G80 like so many of us

I'll take over your lease and pay the transfer fee. LMK when I can come pick it up.

I've never had a lease, so could you explain how the taxes are calculated based on where I live and how that applies to the monthly payment.

I'm assuming taxes are based on the sell price of the car, then taking that figure dividing it by the number of months left on the lease?

So if it's selling for $60K x 9% sales tax = $5400/24mos so $225+the monthly payment?

FS: 2018 M3 CS - $827/month lease takeover - 5,200 miles | SMB+exec | LA

Looks like you are in WA??, so a Google search suggests your state's lease tax is 6.8%, which you would apply to the OP's $826 base payment=$56.17=$882
