FWIW, yours isn't one of them. Thinking about dumping my '18 and picking up a depreciation resistant 911. Grabbing the next M4 will be the repeat of the same vapid keeping up with the iPhones cycle.

Good luck with your decision.
Not surprised to see this comment considering all you do is talk shit on these forums. How is an f80 with stock wheels on springs a shit box? Gtfo man.

Those do not suit a sports car that the F82 is. But each to their own, you earn your cash I guess.

I love the look of those HREs with the Silverstone. Nicely done and very unique. Keep it!

Trading up to M2

C8 Z06, 6 cyl 718 GTS and new M4 will all be available late this year or next...
My M4 is going back and I've traded up to a M2 to keep me occupied while I wait....

Would recommend something Satin black (and not gloss).

Maybe consider lowering and running TE37s?

Also some other great options if lowering is out of question:
BBS CI-R
CS 763M
HRE P101?

Silverstone is a great colour with a dark grey/light black

Thanks for the replies. Of course I appreciate the ones that come from a positive place. I am definitely keeping the wheels. Considering the CS now given the amount of supply on the market. Just don't like those seats and boring interior...

Took a brand new loaner (330I) while my M3 is getting serviced, and I am blown away after taking her to the limit on canyon road. I can't imagine what the new M3 will be like. The chassis on G80 is remarkable. Car feels much more stable and balanced than the F80..not to mention its so much quieter and feels more rigid.
Definitely will consider new G80 if the new lease payment is around or less than what i am paying. It's always cheaper to own previous generation M's but life ain't long. gotta go for what BMW is representing the best of current M3s...IMO...

Nothing particularly special about the F8x platform. I like how mine looks but no sentimental attachment about it whatsoever.

+1 on the Heritage Edition, I ordered a Velvet Blue 6MT. With the Heritage Pack, you essentially get the ZCP for free. In addition, Individual paint and leather. Not bad IMO.

Was at the dealer this past week, and they are available. The color choice is three fairly "loud" colors, with Velvet Blue or Imola my preference. Question, and this seems to bug me, that stripe the length of the roof!! Your thoughts.....

Yeah, the stripe bothers me too - kinda cheesy. Want to see in person...

I like the stripe, there was an Imola Red one at my dealer. It's a nice detail and different enough from "regular" M4's. The way I see it, with the Heritage Edition, you get the Competition Package for free. In addition to some Individual paint and full leather interior with deviated stitching.
