In all seriousness, a person who regularly engages in powerlifting/Olympic lifting can't wear gloves. The gloves negatively affect the grip. Gloves shift around and you can't positively engage the bar. Us PL/Oly boys use chalk; our calloused hands are a rite of passage. |

I'm overly hygienic - the only reason to use gloves in the gym, but I would look like a completely autistic tool with my skinny body. Also, I have found out that the only guys, who wear belts at the gym, are fat, short, and bald, doing nothing but biceps.

Some people have no choice but to wear gloves because of sweaty hands. If you had a family member like that, you would definitely beg them to wear gloves before touching your steering wheel :-) Or anywhere, really.

I'd replace the steering wheel periodically before I wore gloves to drive.

Since your asking, driving gloves to me are like playing with a Lionel Train set, and putting on a Train Engineer hat on your head.

Well played. Best part of the thread.
Maybe we should all start criticizing the size of each other's houses, what you eat for breakfast and how many poops you take a day. If you want to wear gloves, then go for it I say.

Anyway, I couldn't let that opportunity go by. Congrats on the car. Very cool. In my case, we bought the first M4 in FL on July 4th - launch day in the US. It was actually an accident that we were there at all. My E92 was a gift from my wife and it is sentimental and I didn't want to give it up. She has the obligatory "parent cars" (an MB E350 and a Ford Explorer), but she didn't have a fun car. So, we got it for her. I love that there is another couple like us out there - matched M cars across generations.... nice. |
