In two to three years, someone would probably want to buy them since by then those cars will get older and need shock replacement.

I doubt even in 2-3 years. I had my E60 M5 for 7 years on the EDC shocks and lowering springs and never had an issue of one of the shocks going out. I have heard of cars that had maybe 1 fail. Its not common. OP is better off just keeping it as spare parts.

There is some people who fix either salvaged car or hit something not covered by insurance but usually they dont need all 4 .
