Front license plate mounts with PDC

Hello

I have a question. Does anyone have tow hook license plate holder with PDC in the front bumper? If so, how does it work with PDC sensor on the front bumper? Any suggestions? I live in South O.C., which in most cases, police and sheriffs leaves it alone not ticketing, but when I drive up to Los Angeles, somehow, they want to stop for just every little things .. Thank you..

I feel ya bro.

I got the US Millworks Lightened Tow Hook Kit for the F8X.

http://www.usmillworks.com/bmw_front..._tow_hook.html

It is solid and very stiff so that it will not bend in the wind to contact the bumper (see below). Also, it is versatile in its mounting so as to not interfere with PDC. I have had it installed for a week and it has been perfect.
Below is a picture from above of the mounting distance. I'll post a picture from the front later after I pull out of my garage and have some space. Highly recommended mount.

Can you post a pic of the front view at eye level please. I'm currently driving without front plates

I have a USMillworks quick release tow hook (for weekly car washes) on my car and to be honest it fits a little loose so it vibrates a little.

However I love the way it looks and functions. Worth the money I am thinking about buying one for my dad as a gift.

It is straight and level with the floor but the angle the picture was taken makes it appear to be unlevel. This crappy picture at least demonstrates the distance from the parking sensor.
At any distance in front of the car I barely notice the plate; I like the offset position.
Secondly, it is easily removed and then replaced.

I'll take a full frontal picture tomorrow morning.

Just curious, I run into the same issue here in NY. I can drive for months without any issues with no front plate and then bam someone gets me.

Ive been looking at the pedal haus solution and thinking if I get pulled over "oops, I removed it to wash the car, I have it here on the trunk let me mount it" type of response... So it's not on all the time.

http://www.pedalhaus.com/quickrelease.html

Curious to see other solutions too.

My sensor beeps like crazy too. The USMILLWORKS looks very neat. Kinda expensive. There is so many options to choose from. I got 2016 F80 with PDC. PLEASE guide me on which one to choose.

If anyone wants the option of a centered license plate mount, several of us have installed the Sto N Sho;

+1 for Sto N Sho. I had US Millworks lightweight, just couldn't get used to the offset.

I’m unsure if the US Millworks design has changed since then, but my lightened QR kit makes my PDC go off when it’s mounted at the same level that you have it here.

I have to flip mine upside down and mount it higher as they wrote in their instructions. I don’t like it as much when it’s higher up. Would love to have it at the level pictured here.
