Camber Plates wont work with DDC p&p coilovers. Don't make any sense either.

Apparently it has been done. Not without some magic though.

Surprising you say it does not make sense. Having camber plates is something you do not recommend or what? Maybe you can explain

If you're going through the trouble of solid mounts with camber adjustment, you would be looking at the clubsports for ultimate handling

The ddc is a street coilover, and on the street you typically don't want the added nvh of solid top mounts

Thanks for the response..
I have KW HAS now with GC Camber plates, my question would i be able to use GC camber plates with the DDC setup or not?
If not would you know where the mismatch would be?

Ride is allright but im not too happy with it on track that is why i want a complete setup this time.
So what do you think? DDC setup with GC camber plates, do-able or not?
I need to have abilitiy to adjust camber before track days

F8x M3 / M4 drivers have long been waiting for a coilover solution that integrates the Electronic Dampening Control (EDC). KW has just released their DDC kit. Part # is 39020039 and they are currently in a build to order status of about 6 weeks.

We developed the next generation of our adaptive KW DDC plug&play coilover kits. The new DDC coilovers have a new DDC valve technology and are compatible with numerous standard suspension controls.

The complete suspension control system of the adaptive KW coilovers works via the BMW series sensor system and this also controls the KW valves. Even with our DDC coilover kit, the driver can switch between the individual driving modes with the serial button.

The sensors, for example, adapt the suspension adjustment in comfort mode within one hundredth of a second to the respective driving situation. When accelerating during overtaking maneuvers or on the highway acceleration lane, also the damper adjustment gets more direct. This happens so fast and harmonious that you will hardly notice it in everyday life.

The adjustment of the lowering at the adaptive KW DDC plug&play coilovers is made via the dirt-resistant KW trapezoidal thread on the stainless steel strut and the rear axle height adjustment.

The approved range allows a continuous lowering of 15 to 40 mm on both axles for the M4 coupé (F82) and M3 sedan (F80).

When retrofitting, the series struts and dampers only have to be replaced by the KW components and the KW DDC plugs must be connected to the original plugs. The serial sensor system recognizes the adaptive KW dampers.

Pm price shipped inside us

I have a set coming soon. Ordered about 4 weeks ago so still being built but I’ve decided I want my car higher than the minimum of this coilover kit. If anyone wants to take over my order, pm me and I’ll let autotalent know.

Okay, you want visiting a track day? How many times do you do this? Will you use on a trackday different wheels and tyres? Do you tracking your car serious?

I recommend a KW Clubsport 3-way in this case all other things dosn't make sense. Sorry to say that. If you go 2 - 4 times on a trackday you have maybe fun with a DDC p&p or a KW V3 but you will never have the same performance like a KW Clubsport equipped M3 / M4. Even a BMW M4 GTS is using a 3-way adjustable suspension.

A car is always a compromise and there is not a car like an swiss army knife available in the market who can do everything perfect. This is also the reason they using in Motorsports no ordinary stock performance cars. Even an BMW M235i Racing (BMW Motorsports Customer Racing race car) totally differs from the M235i street car.

The closet thing for having fun at trackdays and driving everyday on the street is a KW Clubsport 3-way kit.

Please visit this forum thread http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1419542

Here one of the Bimmer Post users is talking about his experience with it's KW Clubsport equipped M.

So you guys don?t alter the stock control signal at all? Are the DDC dampers continuously variable using the OEM algorithm? Does it react to the full range of 0-1.8A? I?m curious how you got that to work properly under all conditions. In my experience, the software calibration typically needs to be modified to adapt to changes in valving.

I could maybe see it working if you kept some very similar rebound/compression ratios and spring rate/damping ratios to the OEM suspension, but even then, your dampers will inherently have different performance than the stockers even if you match the curves.

I really want to drive an M3 with this set up.

I would also like to know about that.

On the same principle, I find surprising that the ZCP/CS EDC software fits the Civic M4 considering it uses different hardware.

i got mine installed last friday and got them from Autotalent "Golan" is the man.
TAG motorposrt Gabe@TAG installed mine and i believe they were going to post something here with pics..

As far as ride quality from my short trips is simply Awesome..
i had the kw has prior to these and going to full coilover setup is way to go if budget not an issue.. ride feels more stable and planted.
have not done enough miles on sport plus so wait for that.

Are the actual shocks different between?

I know springs and sway bars are different, genuinely curious about the shocks.

I can tell you the std car with the CS EDC coding is heaps better IMO. (I have KW springs)
