Hey, I'm from Michigan and I just had mine done but I made a trip out to Illinois for it.
I called pretty much every shop in the metro Detroit area and only a few were willing to take on the job. Vast Performance in Ferndale was one of them, but they wanted $3500 just for labor, not including fluids, gaskets, or the crank hub upgrade, so basically almost $5000 out the door. They said they have done a couple of them but imo they're too overpriced. The other shop was Nikolas Motorsport in Sylvan Lake, which didn't give me an exact quote but said it would be in the $4500-$5000 range out the door. Although, they haven't done the job but they did feel confident in doing it. These were the only 2 shops in Michigan that were willing to do it. I ended up taking the car to Performance Eurowerks in Illinois as it was significantly cheaper and the shop is very well known for doing the crank hubs on the S55. If you want some more details, shoot me a private message. Extremely happy with the the work and professionalism of the shop. |

Look at Precision Motorsports in Farmington. He said they're the only ones in michigan doing it and they've done many. Very knowledgeable staff. They're young but really know their stuff. I'll likely get mine done there if/when I tune it. I dropped mine off yesterday for springs and short throw install.
