Yes, the order guide lists it as "Yas Marina Blue Metallic"

Does it look like a Cayenne is the camera car to anyone else?

I'm sure my eyes are just playing tricks on me, but pretty funny none-the-less!

Too funny. I thought those curves looked familiar! I'm going to have to wrap mine in Matte black now...

2010 BMW M3  [8.34]
Not a fan of the color, the growl from that inline 6 is insane...a testament to BMW's ingenuity to design an engine that's not a jack-hammer rumble soundtrack, but refined and efficient at the same time while offering a f*ckload of torque.

Heh, but in fact it just occurs to me - this color is very close to the light blue used in the M Logo itself. So I wonder how this car would look with red and blue (or violet, whatever it is) stripes to complete the tri-color M motif.

Or how bout this one - dark blue wheels with red time attack rings. Tacky and passé perhaps, but I honestly think it might not look utterly terrible as one might expect. Too much for the average person I'm sure, but not as far beyond bounds of good taste as the average presentation from AC Schnitzer.

Well it is similar to the blue you see in Bavarian checkerboard flags. They could have called it Bavarian Blue.

Call me crazy, but I love YMB so much that I'm now considering wrapping my E92 in it

The last time a color completely blew my mind like that was Imola Red, many many years ago.

I think with gunmetal HRE, black grilles, and a beige interior, it'll look so amazing

I am very excited about this new M3. I actually like the sedan better than the coupe, as others have already stated.

I was almost 100% set on whatever blue BMW decided to use on the F80/82. This blue looks good (I think) but am going to need to see it in person first. Assuming I still like it, I will go with the blue exterior with full black interior, carbon roof, and black option wheels, standard brakes, with the DCT.

I am hoping that they add a red for 2016 maybe?

I'm a big fan of bold colors -- I just don't know if I'd be brave enough to order something like this on my car. (Previous cars were Ebony, Berlina Black, and Space Gray).

Still, good job on offering it. You should offer even more color options.

Doesn't sound like you're a fan of bold colors, considering your previous 3 were black, black and grey.

Is that really YMB on that F30 Scott? It doesn't look metallic at all in the close up.
I like the way the car looks in this color but I'm probably not brave enough to get it when it comes down to it. We'll see.

Yes it is metallic. The pictures of the F30 320d in Yas Marina Blue were taken on a very overcast day. It truly comes to life under light and natural sunlight.

BMW amongst many other manufacturers use the services of Pursuit systems in order to achieve those sweeping dynamic shots in our media programme.
The Porsche is but one vehicle used that is equipped with a gyro-camera attached to a long crane arm which can accomplish specific shots.
These cameras are also used in many Hollywood productions especially films involving car chases etc.

For more information on the services of Pursuit Systems.
