Velos Stage 2 ECU Tune w/ Fuel Dump aka "Burble" Effect Option

Hey members,

Driving sequence of BMW with Velos Stage 2 ECU tune w/ Fuel Dump what has come to be known as the "burble" effect. This upgrade is recommended for aggressive driving and/or for racing purposes (off road only). The fuel dump will result in turbine speed staying at a higher rpm level while off of the throttle. This is standard on many high performance vehicles such as Porsche Turbos and New Jaguar Ftype-R. PM me for promo pricing.

Can these changes in the ECU affect warranty? is this detectable by BMW?

someone please correct me if I'm wrong but all tunes can affect warranty and all are detectable from my understanding. but, I'm yet to read anything about people getting their bmw warranty voided. many tunes can be put back to stock. I know Audi is much more tough on the whole tune deal. also depends on your dealer techs.

Thanks for posting but makes it sound like the car is misfiring. Different strokes for different folks.

Sounds just like antilag that some evo & sti crowd got into. Hope you guys also know that doing it could dramatically reduce durability of turbo system.

What is the exhaust setup? If it's completely catless thats probably why its so high pitched.

I wish you guys could do this without the need for the full ECU upgrade for people that wanna keep their tunes. Then I would give it a try on my stock exhaust + dp setup.

burbles only sound good when they are mild and light at lower rpms's. otherwise they draw the wrong kind of attention imo.

Yes assuming the dealer is aware.

Sounds changes depending on exhaust, personally I am not a fan of how it sounds with stock mid section with Eisenmann rear which is what is on the car.

Agree to an extent, not my cup of tea. Simply an option just like turning of cold start, etc.

I remember likewise, had some personal experience with AEM setups and antilog. That was more hitting off of a redline on older cars where redline wasn't controlled by throttle.

Changes depending on exhaust. I agree on a deeper sounding exhaust system the sound is closer to an OE Porsche 991 Turbo.

Remember changes depending on exhaust. This setup does not sound deep. Will upload video of it on our X5M soon.

TurboSid, long time sir. Aftermarket downpipes, secondary cats by passed and Eisenmann rear section.

To clarify this is ONLY AN OPTION. So we can do this for completely stock cars, cars with other piggy backs or modules, etc. This like the cold start and rev limiter are options that can be adjusted. Shoot me a PM or give me a call with any more questions.

Tuning is what we began with and doubles in volume when compared to wheels but I appreciate the recommendation. No hard feelings.

Nothing but love for both Alex's over there and you can confirm with them when you have time that we have absolutely nothing to do with one another and actually share a special bromance :roll eyes:

I think the main thing is a much deeper exhaust. Not a big fan of it on this platform and also not a big fan of the name but I guess it helps get the point across. Im with you on the wrong attention thing 100%.
