Yas F80 M3 + PCD

It started with locking down a deal with Adam Feinstein at BMW of Turnersville. Shout out to dsm918 for helping me find such a great deal! Once the deal went through, the waiting began.

After 3 months of waiting, the day finally came. My fiance and I left this guy at home to meet and pick up his new buddy.

Right outside of our hotel window was the Michelin headquarters. I wanted to go to their front office and ask for a new set of tires to replace the Contis I was given

Since we arrived the day prior to pick up, we had an entire evening to explore the city. As this was our first trip to South Carolina, I have nothing but awesome things to say about the place. Its beautiful and the roads around there make me jealous.

Delivery day! 4/28/2016, it's finally here! The car was sitting at the Performance Center for about 3 weeks prior to our arrival . But the experience and delivery process made the wait worth it. The instructors there were hilarious and always made sure we left every activity with a smile on our face .

After three different car exercises, the last activity was with the BMW X5s. I thought this would be a boring part of the experience, but I ended up enjoying it a lot. BMW does a really good job show casing what a X5 can do .

Once the car activities were all done, we were then brought to the BMW Zentrum Museum. It was so top secret, they wouldn't allow us to bring in our camera gear . As if the wait wasn't long enough, BMW then treated us to some lunch. Then they suckered us into going into the BMW store for some last minute purchases, as if the car wasn't enough haha. The time finallyyy came, the car was housed in a separate glass garage unit. They made me feel like I was picking up a supercar .

While I did a thorough walk around on the car, I noticed a few slight blemishes. They said they could fix majority of the issues, but one rubber trim needed to get replaced by a local dealer. This wasn't a huge deal as BMW was taking care of everything and even hooked me up with some BMW store credit for M accessories . I also got one marred M logo on my passenger seat, but this seems to be a common issue I see on forums haha. And again dealer will replace it no problem. So during the wait I asked to see other toys they had hidden around the facility.

I didn't want to post this too soon. Since I had to wait for my car to complete, I was able to see the deliverys for the next day already lined up. This M2 caught my eye, could be someone on the forums.

Once we got the car I was supposed to wrap the crap out of it with blue painters tape. But then I saw how good the car looked untouched and I decided to just wing it and drive safe. Ultimately nothing happened to my car and I got to enjoy it without having it covered up. So the first part of the trip after PCD was straight to Blue Mountain Parkway, which has amazing roads to drive on.

After a lot of aimless driving, we finally decided to call it a night! We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Ashville, and for last minute we couldn't be happier.

We woke up and I couldn't wait for this part of the trip. We took the long way home again and this time headed over to Tail of the Dragon. I had one problem the car was in break-in, so I only did the 11 miles (318 curves) 3 times haha.

And after 950 miles we were finally back home in Illinois! It was good to be back and even better to park these two beasts next to each other. Sorry for the long read, hopefully it wasn't too long/boring to follow. As for the pics they weren't the best and I was always in a hurry. I'll try to post some shots of the F80 and E90 when they are cleaned up and we get some decent weather for once. As for anyone that is hesitating or debating doing PCD, don't delay, DO IT! Next BMW will be ED + PCD for sure.

Awesome pictures.

I really like the black 437 wheels. They look just as good as the ZCP wheels. Makes it a hard decision!

Everyone was telling me to get silver 437 wheels, but I thought the black would add nice contrast.

Thanks man original color was supposed to be Alpine/Mineral White, but fiance talked me out of it. And I'm very glad she did! Not to mention the last meet I went to there were already 5/6 white M3's. Nothing against it because it is a sexy color haha.
