Long Term F80 Build
So it’s been a little while since I started a slow, but steady build with my 2015 F80. With every step, I got to appreciate each upgrade without going all out at once. It all started with an exhaust for some more sound and from there, I laid out a long term plan to ultimately build an understated, yet handsome street brawler. Jeff from Auto Couture in Fair Lawn has been my right hand man throughout this whole process and has pointed me in the best damn direction every single time. It goes without saying if you want to play, you pay, but I’m more than happy with the outcome so far. I’ve decided to keep the interior stock, which she’s a stripper 6MT with carbon structure. Bare bones - steering wheel with 3 pedals and I’m happy. If anything, maybe some upgraded seats in the future. As for anything else, I’m thinking Meth Injection because at this point, why not. Including Jeff, everyone at ACM has had a part in the build at one time or another and they never failed to deliver 100 pct(Mo and Lalit from DMETuning as well). Here’s a list of what we’ve done to date...

Appreciate it! The KW’s I like a lot. I found that the ride was no more harsh than my stock setup, which was non-edc, and they improved the cornering with a more ‘planted’ feel. We fooled around with the compression and rebound a bit to dial it in more so it’s right where I want it. Over 2 years with them on and not one problem, squeak, clunk, etc.

I’m very happy with the SPEC Clutch. I got it out of necessity after I did the turbos and was experiencing slip in 3rd gear and beyond. It behaves very OEM like when just cruising around and in stop and go traffic, but grabs like hell when on boost. Pedal feel is a little heavier than the original and it has a lighter flywheel I believe as well, which is a plus.

Thank you very much, although I’m having a crisis if you want to call it that and highly thinking about going to a Shelby GT350. Call me crazy but it’s such a nice package. Anyway, Front offset is 20 and rear is 40. Brings them right to the edge without sticking out.
