Car Seat Mirror

Hello,

I have a question to all the parents with car seats in the car. What mirror do you guys use if any? Can anyone give any recommendations which to buy? I've tried several and it doesn't fit well due to how our backseat headrest is shaped.

Thanks in advance!

I can't find the link that i used, but I got one that had straps. And I wrapped it around the center head rest. It does obscure your rear view a little, but it allows me to see my son.

Do you mean the straps that go from top and bottom and left and right? The problem with those is with the way our headrest is shaped, I can't strap the top and bottom and they are usually required for the mirror to be stable. Unless you bought one that requires just the center strap?

I don't recall the brand unfortunately but I used to use one I got at Walmart that you can just clip on the the sun visor. Probably like 10 bucks and it didn't block my view of the windshield either but only draw back is you'll have to remove it if you needed to use the sun visor or swap out the the passenger visor.

I recently picked this one up and have it attached to the center headrest as mentioned above. Any of them with similar design likely work as well as each other.

blackmamba30, the one red636 got is the same one I have. I wrapped the straps around the middle head rest.

I have a rear facing child so this won't work for me. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Thanks for the feedback to both of you. I didn't even think about doing it in the middle head rest. I'll try to get this and try that. Thanks!

I had a similar one and also attached it to the middle headrest.
Now Im having the next challenge, since my kid switched to a front facing seat, how to attach a phone/ipad holder for longer trips so he's been entertained….

I never had any kind of mirrors besides the rearview mirror. What is it that you need to see with the car seat? The kid will be fine.

Let me know if you find a solution since I'll be in your position one day

For what it’s worth, mounted to the center headrest, it also allows the kiddos to see out the front of the car. My 1.5 year old daughter loves pointing out cars whenever there is one in front of us. Anything that possibly increases the little one’s interest in cars is a win in my book.

I have one that I used that worked great. I'm on my phone and don't have a pic of it but will post up once I find a pic of it.

Totally forgot about this.
Here's the mirror. We had two (one for our X1 and one for the M3). I kept one cause I'm sentimental that way.
