EU5 injectors

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Several months ago I noticed in the colder days my car would have a rough idle when running the e85 file at times it would stall out , this issue was never present on pump gas.

Last week I decided to do the eu5 injectors and since then the rough idles now appear on every cold start usually about 40 seconds in and would last about 10-15 seconds . I am
Currently in the bm3 ots flex fuel map and to rule out other possibilities I switched back to stage 2 93 where I never had an issue to where now it is an issue . I also tired running the pj e85 file same idle issue is there.

My bm3 settings are pretty basic what I have discovered is once I turn cold start off that idle is fine with no problems at all, if I switch it back on the rough idle is right back regardless of the file I try.

The car is fbo and never had this issue in the last 3 years until the eu5 injectors were dropped in. They have been coded and calibrated.

Attached is a video and logs any help would be appropriated.

Video with logs atttached ,

First log is flex fuel e70

I have the same issue running flex fuel on BM3. The solution is to disable cold start completely.

If you insist on keeping cold start, set cold start RPM to 1200 and that should help with the idling issues.

With the new feature in BM3 Dropdown , do the EU5 injectors require a new tune and calibration?
