FYI I ordered the blue/carbon intake, I think it will go well my the TB and matching engine cover. Just can't wait for it to get here. Patience is a virtue I don't usually have.

Everybody is just commenting on the looks, dont care much fore that, the first reason on buying a intake should be the gains, did someone do a dyno how much gain was it?

Any issues with exposed intake on heavy rain driving?

As for the performance, with the MPE on now I can definitely hear more intake noise under anything more than light throttle.
It's also quite the eye catcher at shows when i pop the hood. The blue is actually a pretty good match for TB but I'd definitely say it's much closer to SMB in color.

To be honest most of the intakes don't increase HP by much as the intake isn't a real bottleneck in the S55. You'd see much better gains for cheaper with DP's or a tune if you're after numbers.

I've driven roughly 5k miles with the intake installed in all weather conditions and haven't had any issues and we've been getting some fairly significant rain here in the last several weeks in AL.
