New track on spent tires. Hopefully that's not a bad idea.
That's the nice thing about NJMP -- lots of runoff space in most areas.
I was on fresh AR-1's that fateful day at the Glen and look where that got me

I just saw NASA will be at Lightning end of May for 3 days, might do just that Sunday 5/21.

Paging NYG for all this Lightning/NJMP talk...

What organizations run a good event at the Glen?

Planning our 2023 tour and would like to hit it up.

Potomac runs a good event there, Fri-Sun. It's a PCA club but they're very nice

I’m going a few times. I only made it once last year, but it’s amazing. Has to be the best most challenging track in North America.

I finally started planning for 2023 and here are my plans thus far:

3/18 LRP MassTuning
3/25 LRP SCDA

4/15 and 4/16 VIR PCA Potomac
4/17 LRP SCDA
5/8 and 5/9 WGI Trackmasters. This is a killer value for open track.
5/12 LRP SCDA Although this may be the Friday before a SCCA event in which case I will skip this as those have always sucked. Will do 6/15 instead.
6/9 NJMP Lightning MOE
7/18 LRP SCDA
8/7 and 8/8 WGI Trackmasters.
10/9 LRP SCDA
10/20 WGI MassTuning
11/3 LRP SCDA

Bold are definites. The rest very likely.
Good mix of events. Four different tracks. First time at two of them.

I need a PCA sign off for Trackmasters apparently so hopefully Shadow can sign me off to advanced at VIR. Need to be advanced to run open track.

Want to run with PCA Niagara as well either 2023 or 2024. Apparently the guys who run Trackmasters are from PCA Niagara.

We have Ozarks on our calendar, probably with MVP in July.

Garage List
2017 BMW M3  [0.00]
I was patiently waiting for GPS track time (my favorite) to release their schedule and was able to register to a few of their events:

April 22-23 GPSTRACKTIME @ Gingerman raceway
May 20-21 Windy City BMWCCA @ Autobahn Country Club (south)
July 1-2 GPSTRACKTIME @ Gingerman raceway
August 5 PSI Motorsports @ Autobahn Country Club
September 17 GPSTRACKTIME @ Autobahn Country Club
October 7-8 GPSTRACKTIME @ Gingerman raceway

I decided to opt out of Road America and Blackhawk this year, but will try to squeeze in a couple of more days during the weekdays if everything works out. Hope to see some of you at the track.

I'm signed up for Pocono South-East with Riesentoter PCA on May 6 and 7. This will be by second track day; my first time on this particular track. It would be awesome to have a couple F80s to hang out with.

Here’s my updated schedule. Everything with red cell is confirmed. Will likely attend all of the SCDA events but haven’t confirmed all with organizer yet.

Want to squeeze in a VIR trip sometime summer or early October. Cannot commit to any spring events there unfortunately which was the initial plan.

May be doing a drive down to Road Atlanta around June due to a work trip so that should be fun as long as the scheduling works out.

For those going to LRP on Saturday, do you think that will still happen with the storm going up there? Or are these always rain, shine, or snow?

I think LRP is actually very well equipped for snow. They run snow days there too.

All of this snow will melt by Saturday.
They're showing AM showers for Saturday which I hope just means very early morning AM.

LRP does do car control clinics in snow, but they dont run HDPE in snow on the main track. If it's snowing you get your money back as per policy with most orgs.

Finally going to start track days. Keep in mind that I have absolutely *ZERO* track experience. So for now, only thing I have scheduled is this in July:
