Also, I melted two of the center caps of the Apex wheels right off last time at the track. Are there any options for metal center caps perhaps? If you can give me the specs/sizes I can look for them. |

Regarding the center cap issue, we typically recommend removing the caps prior to track events as this is not uncommon even with the OEM BMW caps. We do not offer any metal options at this time and are not aware of any available from a third party. If you do happen to find a metal option, provided it is meant to work with the OEM BMW wheels, it will also work with your APEX set. -Ian

ARC-8 wheels on F82 w stock suspension
Hi everyone! I'm having some trouble deciding between a square vs staggered setup on my F82 M4 with stock suspension. If any of you have stock suspension with the APEX ARC-8 wheels, please post more pics! I'm mostly concerned with wheel gap in the front
Below are the setups I'm considering. I am going to AutoX the car but probably only a couple times per season, nothing too crazy. SQUARE: 19x9.5 ET22 265/35-19 STAGGERED F: 19x9.5 ET22 265/35-19 R: 19x10 ET25 275/35-19 Any feedback is appreciated! |

Either of those two fitments will be great OEM+ direct fit options. If going square, we also like to recommend the 19x10" ET25 fitment with a 275/30-19 or 275/35-19 tire. With OEM suspension, this is a direct fit option as well. I found a couple photos at OEM ride height shown below: Specs: 18x10" ET33 EC-7s with 275/35-18 tires and a 12mm front spacer (OEM suspension) Specs: Front: Apex EC-7 in Anthracite 19x9.5" ET22 with a 265/30/19 Toyo R888 Rear:Apex EC-7 in Anthracite 19x10" ET25 with a 295/30/19 Toyo R888 -Ian

Here is some additional information regarding that specific F8X M3/4 setup: Front: 19x10" ET25 with 275/30-19 tires Rear: 19x10.5" ET45 with 305/30-19 tires -Brake clearance: SB CCB -Available in our EC-7 and SM-10 designs. -5mm front spacers may be required for certain aftermarket suspensions, see below. -Front 19x9.5" ET22 wheel can be used to avoid running spacers with certain aftermarket suspensions due to its superior inner clearance. -Rear 295/30-19 tires can also be used. With a 19x10" ET25 front and a 19x10.5" ET45 rear, you can run 275/30-19 front and 305/30-19 rear tires as a complete direct fit on a F8X with lowering springs. Front spacers are only required with aftermarket suspension known to reduce inner clearance. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out! -Geirsen

Thanks for the question. That fitment does require some work to make fit without rubbing. With the OEM suspension or stock shocks/struts and lowering springs, you will likely need a 5mm spacer for front suspension clearance. You will also likely need a rear fender roll and aggressive negative camber both front and rear via camber plates and adjustable rear arms. See below for additional fitment notes: Front & Rear: 18x10.5" ET22 with 275/35-18 tires
If you are looking for a square fitment that will allow for an easier fit, the 18x10" ET25 setup is what we typically recommend: Front & Rear: 18x10" ET25 with 275/35-18 tires
With either of the two fitments shown above, a 40 series tire will be more likely to rub under full compression on the inner fender liner and outer fender, especially up front. Sticking with a 275/35-18 will make fitment a bit easier. A final square fitment that can work quite well with a large front spacer is shown below: Front & Rear: 18x10.5" ET40 with 275/35-18 tires
While the above fitment does require a large front spacer, it is easier to make fit compared to the 18x10.5" ET22 fitment. If you have any additional questions, feel free to send us an email at support@apexraceparts.com! -Ian

If looking for an easier fit square setup, the 18x10" ET25 may be a better option. All that is required with a 275/35-18 tire is a possible need for a 5mm front spacer depending on the suspension used. You can also run a 285/35-18 tire as well which will still be far easier to fit compared to the 18x10.5" ET22 or ET27 fitment. A small amount of negative camber is still recommended however. -Ian
