Ordered two of these boosters, since I have their suits and seats. No one will get the brand unless their a gearhead. Sparco's babyseats look cool too. Wife like Clek seats.
YES, we're talking about baby seats on the M3 forum. Deal with it. lol

I tried both our Recaro ProRIDE Convertible & Recaro Performance SPORT Harness Booster side by side and both fit in the M4 with no issues. Don't forget the pad to protect your seats
Someone I know had a bit of trouble getting a Britax Convertible with the side air cushions into the M4 but still managed with some elbow grease. FYI it was obviously a lot easier to get the kids into their car seats on the M3 vs. M4. My biggest concern is damage to the fixed headrests even with a pad to protect them from the top tether strap; I guess we'll see what happens... |

what car is this in? can't see too well but the back seat doesn't look like an m4 or maybe i just can't make it out.
i've been having the same dilemma which has been worsened by the fact that a lot of ppl say they (with or without kids) prefer the looks and beefy nature of the M3. something about the M4 just tickles me a little (maybe the "CSL" style trunk?). we have a 20 month old and a 2 month old. the 20mo is just about ready to be forward facing (trying to hold out as long as possible for the 2yr recommendation) but obviously the 2mo will be rear-facing for some time. i know it would work in a pinch and the X3 will be the primary kid-hauler. i just don't want to break my back trying to get the bigger kid in and i don't wanna bang the doorframe up putting in/removing the snap in carseat. difficult decision. i sat comfortably in the back of a 428i and i'm 6'2'' with long legs behind a 5'9'' driver … i was impressed with the space but actually climbing in does take a fair amount of contortion and care to avoid scuffing everything. price to pay for a sexy 2 door huh? HOWEVER, if it turns out the 2dr is too much of a PITA, i think i would be upset with myself whereas if i get the 4dr i can always justify it with the increased convenience. convenience > photogenicity … although it's a fine line. i'm actually driving a black on black M4 tomorrow to play with the tranny/suspension (debating 6MT vs DCT and active vs passive suspension). we are still planning on an M3 but if the M4 blows us away we may just go for it! either way i cannot wait. good luck and keep us posted (including lots of photos of course) matt |

i knew you were OP … thought maybe you did a test fit somewhere or made an executive decision to buy one quick.
your kids are both forward facing you'll have no problem putting those seats in. i think putting the kids in & taking them out will be pretty doable but if i go M4 i'll probably get extra car seats to prevent swapping them back & forth every few days…because that is a bit of work even in our e90 now… it'll be a huge PITA with the M4. |

6 and 9, average size rodents
It's the kick mats I've been having a harder time with. Most don't work well, or are really ugly with our one piece seats. Brica so far is the best I've found. I might try vinyl film or matte paint protection film. Good Dad thread!
