Code out FTM
Is there a way to code off the Flat Tire Warning system?
My f80 thinks I have low tire pressure, but of course I do not. Quite persistent warnings in iDrive that dont stop. I cant reset monitor as that option is greyed out. |

Your TPMS sensors in your wheels probably need to be replaced. Try that first.

I have a canadian F80 (2016) so it did not come with TPMS in the wheels.
Problem started when I switched over to my winter set. I thought perhaps the previous owner coded the DSC to read TPMS that he may of added into his aftermarket summer set, since they have metal stems, so I also then added TPMS into my winter set to hopefully solve the issue, but problem still exists. No luck with bimmerlink. I dont care if the car reads TPMS data, I just want to disable the FTM gong and warning, it is super invasive. Confirmed no flat tires or low pressure. |

Any other ideas guys?
Confirmed Canadian F80 did not come with TPMS FTM problem only Wheel sensors confirmed working. Could it be a random computer gremlin? Any ideas for shutting FTM off completely at the very least? |
