I'd check with the dealership about your car, they actually charged you for the rear fender protection?!? |

My car has a few chips, and what looks to be a dent pull. They aren't noticeable from a distance, and the car is in my garage now, so it's all good. I'm not going to obsess too much about every little flaw, especially with frozen paint. That said, my plan was to remove the gloss PPF and matte wrap at least the nose and hood... time will tell though. |

Yes - that clear bra section is factory. PPF installed from new on my 3CS, that small factory peice was pulled off. No paint issue on SMB. Then did full Xpel PPF. Added an extra layer on top for double protection in same area in front of rear wheels.

Anyone who has FDB II paint will never be perfect. All of them i've seen online always have something minor even if it has full xpel wrap. . Just how it goes with this paint. But they made so few of this color compared to all CS and will find less and less of them over time.

What are the core differences between F80/F82 CS?
I know F82CS has cooler rear lights, CFRP trunk, and lightweight door panels. Is that about it?

1. Lightweight GTS Door Cards 2. GTS Upholstered Seats 3. GTS Tail Lights 4. Lighter Weight Base Radio 5. F82 CS got a Melbourne Red Variant F80 CS is more of a parts bin CS to appease sedan heavy markets, hence why it doesn’t have all the lightweight parts and has a reused Jahre interior. All this info is in the OP

A CS model is more than the cosmetics…
A little more horsepower, a chunk more torque, some downforce, less weight, and specific tuning. You do lose a few conveniences, comfort access being the most obvious, so it’s not without trade offs but in many ways, an M4cs is a very diffferent car from its brother the F82 comp. It’s tracked-focused but sweet on the streeet and still eminently daily-drivable. As for exclusivity, I’m in SoCal where there are supposedly many and I’ve seen 4 M4cs in 4 years!…and I hit up the BMW events and track the car. I see more GTS than CS…just me but just saying. |

I wasn't searching, but my buddy at a local dealer had someone trade in a 2019 M4CS in FDBII for an MKV Supra. I drove right up and drove it. Even though I was nervous of the Frozen finish, I couldn't walk away and drove it home. Just a touch over 40k miles, Exec package.
I just washed it finally for the first time. Waiting on an entire kit of stuff from Dr. Beasleys to do what I can to get it as good looking as possible. Other than some minor road blasting on the lower front bumper, back of the rockers, and some random scratches here and there, the paints in pretty good shape.

My car is basically yours minus the CCBs/matte paint. Love the FDB2 and SMB! I just have the MPHAS on it, MPE exhaust, spacers, and Vorsteiner diffuser/side skirts. I'm pretty much done with the car now as I think the CS is basically perfect as is, but always have my eyes out for a Brembo GT kit F&R. Maybe I'll bump into you sometime in the fall! |

Also trying to decide on downpipes, resonated or catted, I want to try and keep out as much of the S55 rasp as I can. But just enjoying the car right now. |

A little side topic but what is the best / cheapest place to buy an OEM front lip for the M3 CS (51-11-8-076-049)? My buddy has an M3 CS and hit a dip and cracked the front lip and is looking to replace. Or maybe if someone has a good condition used one that might work too?
