MG/CC M4, My build.. finally

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hey members!

Finally got around to cleaning my M4 and taking some pictures in the daylight. I traded in my 2013 Audi A5 December 31 and got this beast. I love the car, first M. When I first bought it, the only mod I consider was a 9500ci, but after seeing all the interesting and awesome looking mods on this website, I went ahead and got a few things done. I don't know what else I’ll do, but I am VERY happy with how it looks and the overall car. BMW M division killed it with this beast. Please comment and let me know what you all think/if you have questions on my mods! Thanks!

Car sticker:
64,200 Base
MG- 550
Executive package- 4000
Lighting package- 1900
DCT- 2900
Adaptive suspension- 1000
Rims- 1200
HK- 875
Destination charge-950
MSRP: $77575
Price they gave me: 69,500 (BMW silver spring always has random M4s every month or so with a significant amount off, just make sure you know what you’re doing when you're leasing, i.e. money factor etc)

Mods:
9500ci & laser jammer
IND black surrounds with vinyl M color I did myself
IND painted reflectors- don’t install this without a hair dryer
BMS OBD2 canflap module
BMS Stage 1 tuner
eBAY Carbon fiber spoiler
eBAY pedal set- easy install if you’re patient
20% Tints SUNTek all around except windshield
I coded for pretty much everything, i.e. adaptive highbeams, folding mirror on lock etc

Looks Great!!

NIce list of mods so far..

Gotta ask.. Not knocking your choice.. just gotta ask..

Why Ebay carbon spoiler vs M Performance spoiler??

The $$ savings is nice. but my fear is this piece will turn yellow fairly quick also curious about fitment ?

Any gaps ? over all quality?

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks! the links are below. On retrospect for the spoiler I would probably have gotten RK cause this one didnt come with the tape set on it before. I ended up paying a bodyshop guy to clear coat it and mount it for 40 bucks. Its pretty nice but cant compare it to IND/etc since ive never seen those in person.
For the pedal set make sure you have a good drill! PM when you get it and need tips installing

BTW, which 9500ci version do you have? The jammer? on the front license plate looks much different than mine.

As someone who thinks he wouldnt own a grey car every time I see MG it changes my mind. Its simply a superb colour.

The pedal set looks awesome. How come BMW doesnt make an M Performance set?

Thanks!! I really like the mods so far. I definitely get what you’re saying about the spoiler. This is the only mod I think I would reconsider, maybe. At first I thought the price was just so reasonable and other members had attested to this sellers products, I thought what the heck. It was less than half the competitors, and in my mind, I have set idea of how much I would like to pay for certain mods. Not to knock other companies. I just don’t think 600+ for a tape on spoiler is worth it to me, maybe for others which if fine, to each there own. The spoiler took about a month to arrive and there was maybe one imperfection I noticed on close examination but nothing you would pick up just looking a foot away. It was just annoying to install because the tape wasn’t already on it so I got a body shop guy to do it. All in all, I think I would probably go with RK carbon or something instead, although that wasn’t available at the time I got this one. I wish I could see an IND one in person to compare, I wonder how much nicer it looks. Let me know if you have any more questions, overall I’m still happy with it!

Thanks man!! Your build actually influenced mine, so thanks for posting it! I think I have the same one as you, that thing on my license plate is actually my ezpass for the toll roads. The jammers are on the lower flare!

Why do you need a hair dryer for the painted reflectore.

Sorry, I didn't do it yet.

Looks great.

Quick question: how do you do the coding yourself? Is there a thread on this topic. I have the light option on my M4 vert but would like to code it to euro spec. Also, the code for the auto folding mirrors seems practical.

Looks really good, that grey is one of my favorites - outside of a dark blue of course.

Do you have any performance plans for it? Like exhaust and such?

Thanks! I don't know why the car doesn't come with all metal pedals in the first place, weird to me. They do make a matching pedal set but it was to plain for me so i went with one with a little more pop

Check out the DIY section for the painted reflectors install before hand. You need the a hairdryer to heat up the glue that keeps the reflector on, it wouldn't come off for me without that. I heated it from the inside and just kept pushing from the outside until it came off.
