MaxPSI crankhub install
Anyone local in Washington/Baltimore region that has prior experience installing the pinned crank hub? I haven’t found someone willing to do the v2 4 pin from maximum psi. bmwexcluservice will only do the 2 pin from carbahn.

RRT has a good reputation but I’m curious how much they quoted you for this? I had 20” tires mounted by them and they did a great job but it cost a pretty penny.

Why would you go anywhere else besides RADIAL TIRE. They are by far and away the best tire shop in the entire DMV.

Yes Kies Motorsports. For a job like that, I think driving there is feasible since they are doing it regularly and have a solid price. Locally RRT, Rob or Dale at BMW FFX and couple other shops that would do it.

While I have heard numerous good stories about RRT and yes, a reputable shop should perform this type of job, this quote seems a little high:
"We use the SSR crank hub (the original developed by MaxPSI) now upgraded to the 4-pin design. The total for the job including all parts and labor is $5465 and takes about 4 days to complete." |
