So I was taking a look around, there are a lot of bolts on the top of the shock tower. What sort of adjustability is there on the stock unit, any ability to adjust camber?

Also, anybody know the part number for this little dumb fastener that holds the rubber mat down. I almost broke it taking it off because it was... well I'm stupid.

Yeah that's what I figured given all the talk about camber plates. Why is such a complex construction then? It must do something is it just for castor?

There's a strut-tower brace plus the carbon fiber v-brace plus the strut tophat all stacked in/on the strut tower. Bunch of components that want to be real stiff, so lots of bolts.

Camber Solution

I moved from the GC plates to Millway plates. Sturdier construction, larger bearing (same size as OE) and works with the factory/KW hardware.

The good stuff.

There is another option out there which was actually recommended by the shop that I contacted in Austin Texas. Shop has a very good reputation and they say that they think these are the best on the market.
