100mm tips on OEM exhaust

Does an 100mm Akrapovic tip fit on the OEM exhaust?

Update:
A friend of mine is making 4 custom tips for me. They look like the Akrapovic ones and are 70mm (outer size, 67mm inner size) on the side which connects to the OEM exhaust and 90mm on the outlet. He also made a connection pipe which fits over the OEM inner tips and my new tips to connect everything.

I'll update this thread in around 10-14 days when I had time to install them. Should look perfectly OEM.

Total size is 70mm to 90mm.

But I don't like how they look when you take a look inside of the tips + I like the Carbon fiber style of the Akrapovic ones.

70mm outer will look pretty tiny. Should be at least 90mm

70mm outer diameter is where it connects to the OEM tips.
Visible outer diameter is 90mm.

bumping this thread because looks like CCM is about to put out CF tips..

and they have 102mm tips available as well..

pricing for the their 90mm gloss black and matte black tips right now are 299...better than some vendors on here...

***edit: URL removed as looks like ccm is not an authorized vendor and it comes up as blocked*** wonder if I'l be getting a warning from the mods for this

yeah...in authorized vendor most likely..

google "ccm exhaust tips"..you'll get them

check them on instagram as well

102mm tips are not listed on their site, nor are the cf tips...found those on their IG account...

Unless CCM has improved their finishes, I'd stay away. I have a set of 90mm gloss black and the paint is basically melting off of the tips. Terrible finish quality.

good to know...have you considered thermacoating or even pc'ing the ones you have...

even with that extra expenditure, you'd be ahead of what other vendors and options are price wise...

I'm probably going to just PC them and be done with it. Just giving you guys a fair warning. If you're OK with PC a brand new set of tips, go for it. Beyond that, stay away. Far away.

JB Speed also has a 100mm CF tip that supposedly fits the OEM exhaust. They are posted elsewhere and you could probably get a better deal through the forum than through their website if you choose to go that route.

I just purchased their 90mm tips though they are back ordered a couple of weeks. I'll post pics when installed. 100mm I think is too big for the M3 personally. M4 with aftermarket diffuser may look OK with 100mm.

lol that's awful. Real carbon fiber probably won't hold up to the heat without some discoloration. Probably explains why akra uses the metal tip on the inside.
