interior looks totally 90s, wTF were they thinking? grey plastic and straight lines everywhere, what the hell ?
the exterior is way too busy for my likes. the front is way too big, single-framed Audi's are still to be looked at, but this?? looks like the fence of some top-secret monster-hiding place to me. predator face - exactly to the point. the rear view is not that bad, but still too many lines there, and the rear lights - me not like. also the exhaust pipes look weird, like the horizontal positioning (like almost ALL other manufacturers do with their quad-exhausts) much better. but I'm sure this will find its buyers - young below-30s on a leasing contract or with too much money and no taste ![]() the display is cool, I like gadgets and gimmicks - on my playstation in particular! when I crash there, I won't die, so that allows me to check the G-meter from time to time. but in a real car, on a real street or track? |

Exterior of the RC F looks all right...the interior looks weird to me.
Honestly what's most important to me is how it performs. That engine setup looks cool, but if all it can do is go fast in a straight line, I won't be impressed. It's going to have to be able to offer some track and canyon carving abilities if it wants to compete with the M3/M4. |

I was able to see a pre production version of the RC-F on its transit from JPan to the US mainland. It was painted in a grey color similar to space grey with a lot of sparkle and shine. It just looked like an IS-F with widened arches, more GT-R like fender louvres and the angled exhaust captured reflections. - real metal looking. The exhaust sounds like it has more flow not as brassy as the outgoing model but has snarl like it is very rev happy. I saw it at a port and the driver was very quick to drive out of sight. It will definitely catch the eye but still doesn't have the character of the F82. Not sure what its Performance is like but it's not very loud at low speeds.

Damn, I used to think the new BMW exterior look was a step back, but it's beautiful next to the face of that "GT-R ugly" Lexus! I did see and hear a new M4 last weekend, and it looks very good in person, especially from behind. Its sound isn't really my cup of tea (like most S65'ers), but in the sports modes it does at least get loud. |

it'll be interesting to see if Lexus will step up. probably the biggest thing I've likes about the ISF is that I almost never see them around (which also could be viewed as they suck and no one wants them, fair assessment). I agree that the new one is too in-your-face for my taste.. same reason I'm not ordering AY, SO, or YMB... I really don't want all that attention.
