M Performance st.wheel wheel/Race display

I bought a used M Performance steeringwheel whit Race display. What else do I need to make the LED lights/screen work on the steering wheel? Modul, wires, conding?
The current steering wheel is the original heated one. No Lane-change warning/Driving Assistant.

I recall reading a thread not too long ago discussing the need for a wiring harness that’s difficult to find because it only comes with the digital wheel. I can’t recall what the outcome was. Trying searching for the thread.

Yea, hardest to find is the wiring harness. It's not sold individually by BMW.

This was a bad news. I found some information that needed parts are:

61122334010 Cable harness
61122334013 Control unit
61122354871 Cable harness

And as you mentioned, BMW does not sell these separately. So there will be some hard time for me. If someone got a BMW wiring diagram for these wires, maybe they could be made somewhere.
If anyone has these parts I'm willing to buy them.

Search the forum. I know there is someone on here that sells them.

Ebay sellers have custom electronic steering wheels for the platform. How are they powering the steering wheel? Maybe reach out to them if they have their own harness and whether it works with the oem wheel.

The hart part here is this control unit.

I have seen the control module for sale on ebay but the price was quite high. But control unit is must buy somewhere.

Wiring harnesses, I think they can be made if only the connectors can be found somewhere. Here is the connector that is in the steering wheel wiring harness. The second necessary connector is shown in the picture of control unit.
In the wiring harness of the steering wheel, three wires go to that steering wheel. Power (red), ground (black) and control data (green). Only the green wire goes directly to the black connector. Red and black are connected in the wiring harness.

I'm sure that a normal wiring harness can be made into an LED steering wheel wiring harness. If the required connector is available.

Wiring harness from the control unit
If this connector is available, the wiring harness is quite simple to make.

The following wires must be made from the connector

The wires circled in green already exist, so you can forget about them.
The wire circled in red must be built and pulled to the steering wheel
The wires going to A8 could have been omitted, they are not mandatory? (3-pin socket casing for optional LAP trigger measuring sensor)

A7 to steering wheel
A1 Connect branch A1, GN cable, with BL/RT cable from PIN 19 to CON3 sing miniature connector G
A2 to ground
A3 Branch A3, BL/RT cable, to PIN 19
A4 Branch A4, RT cable, to PIN 18

So this could be done?

You really need to buy the wiring harness, control module as several people on eBay just selling the wheel as they are too lazy to remove all the wiring and module. Also if you have heated steering this will no longer work and car will throw an internal error which you don’t need to worry about.

BMW offered in the UK full kit on a deal for 1k which is not bad.
