Anyone have the CS+ tune from proTuningFreaks installed? My car running super rough with a CEL for catless DP and .020 gapped NGK plugs so I finally got around to doing a tune.

I went with the CS+ to try it out and it's freaking awesome. I love the noticeable difference but that it's kind of subtle and nothing too nasty. I'm sure Stage 1 is a monster. I'm dying to test out stage 2 since I don't have cats but honestly I really love the convenience/performance from this simple cs + map.

Only thing kind of annoying is the burbles are a little too much... I think it's set to the custom setting on BM3.. a little too much for me.

Wondering what others think of it and how it's been for them. My tires are spinning so there's deff extra power and boost, the traction light keeps coming on. And FINALLY that annoying CEL light is gone! Lolll

I have stock intake but catless DP, aluminum charge pipes and aftermarket midpipes (no secondary cats)

BTW My account wouldn't activate when I tried to install they helped me out almost instantly via email, thanks guys much appreciated good customer service.

The CS+ is a great map with nice street manners.

I'm currently running BM3 E30 map and the power and torque are just too infectious to go back.

I'd definitely recommend tuning out or down the burbles. It's just lame in my opinion.

If you want to maximize your power, swap out the OEM air and charcoal ilters with K&N or BMC filters.

Yeah forgot to mention I do have the charcoal filter removed and KN filters in also on the stock intake air boxes.

E30 sounds cool but the 91 pump gas here in SoCal is nothing spectacular and I don't know crap about mixing fuels 😂

The track i go to with my buddies has 101 and 110, would that be the closest equivalent to running E30 and e85 respectively, or am I totally off?

I'm in Socal too, E85 is relatively easy to source. If you're on a mobile phone, just download and E85 "blend" calculator. Really straight forward. An E30 blend would be approximately 95 octane

I'm running the BM3 Stage 2 E30 AGG map....its feels really good! I'm very curious how a custom e30 map would perform or full e85.

I've noticed a huge decrease in mpg when running the e85/93 mix which is the only downside but, this should be expected.

That will always happen..... it takes more E85 for combustion then reg gas.... but you go much faster

Quick question for you!

I opted for the standard Stage2 map because while I do have an e85 station near me I was worried in the event of not having one near by and needing gas asap that I would not be able to pumo straight 93. Have you had any instan where you needed to pump only 93 and ran it like that or stritcyly e30 mix?

yes, I've been in a situation where I wasn't around an e85 station. This is where the BM3 wifi agent comes in handy and having multiple tune files. I can use my iPhone to switch maps on the fly when you have the wifi agent.

Me too I'm thinking of getting that mainly to keep tabs on diagnostics and also have piece of mind knowing you switch or revert to stock in case of an emergency. Not being negative but just trying to be cautious lol.

Those of you running e30 or 85 / stage 2 do you guys have stock heat exchanger and stock cooling systems?

I'm running E30, no issues with cooling with OEM components; daily driving / commuting.

I do have the "MAX Cooling Mode" option ON.

Is your mobile device required to have "HotSpot" enabled?

Yes, its required. You will also need to rename your mobile device or edit the wifi agent to another name which needs to match your mobile.

From your experience do you feel the dme really needs a period of break in time for the new map ? What you say like a day or two of driving?

Curious if this cs + will get any better 😋😋 first gear is a bit jerky right now haha

There's is a period of adaptation. The jerky feeling could be few issues, throttle mapping within the tune, adaptation period or DCT. Have you upgraded the DCT flash?
