Wrap the V-Brace instead. Make it as subtle or noticeable as you want.

As others pointed out; in most cases you'll see stripes on non-m cars including non BMW's

If you like the stripes get them.

I'm 99% certain the general public will like the stripes

Well, I think the stripes look cool.

Go for it. You clearly are leaning that way so just do it.

I'd consider doing it but it doesn't seem like it'd look good on YMB. If I had almost any other color, I'd do it for sure.

Ruins the car imo, if BMW never did anything of the sort, don't do it lol. Just my opinion though. I'm all for modding but this is the equivalent of putting m stripes on your wheels or some random spot I don't see why this became a thing.

They're incredibly cheap to purchase and not terribly hard to install. I like mine right now and when I don't then I'll swap the stock one back in. Like very few people here said, go with what you like.
