Change blind spot speed with coding

Does anyone know if you can code the blind spot sensors to work at different speeds?

Any ideas? dmnc02 shawnsheridan

I'm looking for the blind spot values to hopefully change the sensors to go above 70mph.

I'm worried if I bring it to the dealership that they will reset my computer and I will have to code everything all over again.

ICM, 3000, C_ZSW_Aktivierunggeschwindigkeit_Funktion_low, 50 kmh --> 20 kmh or 30 kmh.

There is a cheat sheet for that as well in E-Sys.

Are you saying they don't activate above 70?

I know coding activates them below 30...I believe down To 17mph

Correct, they only work below 70mph

have anyone confirmed this works?

when i googled this in non F80/F82 forum, it seems to throw an error if you code it below 25kmh .

I used Carly to code in a lower limit for the blind spot and it works. Too well. With the limit set lower you'll get constant warnings in double left turn lanes so if those are common in your area you might want to reconsider lowering the limit. I set mine back to factory after a week of irritation.

ahh thanks for the heads up. couple questions

were those the exact command you had to change? (ICM, 3000, C_ZSW_Aktivierunggeschwindigkeit_Funktion_low, 50 kmh -->25kmh)

what was the lowest speed you were able to set to? 20 or 25 kmh?

double left turn lanes are not uncommon where im from but i guess i'll have to try it myself

It works on my F80. Checked again last night. The warning lights start blinking at speeds above 13 MHP (20 kmh) and continue to work at speed over 80 MPH.

I do remember when I coded it down to 10 kmh, it would throw an error code of lane change warning malfunctioning.

Can someone please confirm if you were able to remove the activation speed all together? I want the blind spot warning light to come on even when my car is standstill parked

Really? You confirm it works if set to 00 is that only if the car is in drive at 00 speed? That’s what I want for the blind spot to go off when I’m at a right turn stop light or parallel parking space where it’s hard to turn my head back and forth to check front and rear blind spot.

@kubax86 What about lane keep? Bimmercode only lets me change to 55 km/h minimum. Is there any chance to make it lower like 30-40 km/h which is helpful in stop and go traffic or pulling at a turn?
