Just bought a F83. It came with 18” wheels.
After reading this thread, I am planning on 18mm front and 15mm rear. Do I need an alignment after or not?

No alignment is needed after installing spacers.

Not gonna comb through a million posts lol, but if you have 666M and are now running PS4s and have 15mm spacers you will need to change to a 12mm spacer. I have rubbing when hitting decent bumps. Did not really consider this when I went with the PS4s.

PS4's run wide vs the PSS star spec tires that come factory. I would say 10mm is good to go with the PS4's.

Hello, no rubbing at all with this combo. However I only ran it like that before switching out the wheels for about 2 weeks.

Hey All,

I need spacer help for my ‘18 F80 with 666 wheels, lowered on EMD springs. Tires are 265/35/20 front and 285/35/20 rear.

I wanted to run 12mm front and 15mm rear but they wouldn’t fit. I swapped it and ran 15mm front and 12mm rear, but was rubbing pretty badly especially up front.

I want to go to 10mm all around, 5mm not worth it in my opinion. Before I order and waste more money, does anyone have any advice?

Thanks!

Are your tires BMW star spec or non star spec? The no stars run a bit wider.

I would go with the 12mm up front and 10mm rear. 10mm all around would also work but think the 12mm would look better.

They are Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4’s. I do think they have a bulkier sidewall. It’s pretty much straight up and down with no angle to it.

I already rub a tiny bit on the wheel well, but the rubbing I got was from fender.

Thanks!

Hey Kevin,

I installed some MS 12mm on the front of my M4. 666M with 265/30/20 Michelin Pilot Sport AS so its pretty square. Lowered on EMD spring. Love the look, but I rub on even the smallest bumps. Would sizing down to 10mm be enough to solve most of the rubbing (dont care about fender liner rubbing, just the rubbing on the bumper tabs)? I have a hard time believing 2mm would make a difference, but maybe I'm wrong.

Thanks!

Kevin - I have a 2018 M3 Comp that I'm about to put Eibach Euro V1 springs on. Would like to maintain OEM+ look and based on research on this forum I'm thinking 12mm front and 10mm rear. Any thoughts on that setup?

If that makes sense to you, can you quote 12mm and 10mm shipped to 75013? Thanks

Any suggestions on 255/275 19's for stock suspension for a non CP 2015? My new Star Spec tires are narrower than the PSS's I had and the look is bugging me. Lol

Im leaning towards 12f/10r because I'd rather not do the usual 15/12.
