Cup 2s (240tw) in the rain are okay, just drive sensibly on them. Be extra careful in wet + cold. Dunno about Cup 2R but I would assume they have less wet performance so probably not ideal.

Lol, good luck on Cup2 R's.
Regular Cup 2's are somewhat ok as long as there are no puddles or standing water on road/HWY, ask me how I know lol. For wet surface after light rain/morning mist you'll be fine but keep your adventures in check.
