Rear hub replacement?

I'm in quite a predicament here. Long story short, all hub bolt threads on my passenger rear side are completely shot and I couldn't get a tap or thread chaser started to cut away at the damaged bits. My only option left is to replace the hub. From my understanding, in order to use a basic bearing separator tool, you need to be bale to thread in lug bolts to push the hub apart from the axle. Since all my threads are shot, I can't even do that. What are my options?

Drill and tap to next size up. Get bolts using the new size and use that to use the hub puller, if that’s what’s needed.
