Apex VS-5RS vs Richland Forged RF-GT4

I’m having a hard time spotting the design difference between the Apex VS-5RS and Richland Forgee RF-GT4.

Can anyone point the difference?
Also, is one a better wheel than the other, weight or strength-wise?

They're awfully similar and the design differences are subtle for sure. The VS-5RS has much more "hollowing" of the spokes where the exterior edges of the spokes are essentially carved out to save weight.

The edges of the wheel are all smoothed/rounded out, where the Richland has more "sharpness" to the edges. Generally I find the smoothness and detail of the Apex more visually appealing, but it's very subjective.

The Apex are also slightly lighter. Comparing the 19x9.5's alone, the Richland is advertised to be 22.2lbs to the 19.2 manufacturer weight supplied by Apex.

Hard to go wrong either way, they're both such great looking wheels. I personally bought a set of 18x11 VS-5RS for the rear of my car to run 315 888R's so I could find some traction. Very pleased with the wheels and will be buying a matching set of fronts at some point even though I hadn't planned on it tbh. I just like the wheels a lot more than expected.

Richland forged is a replica of the GT4 race wheel, VS5RS is an adaptation of the Y spoke design that happens to closely match the GT4 race wheel design. The Y spoke is design is very common on modern race cars.

I got a set of vs5rs mainly because of lighter weight and wheels are certified which is very important to me. Many folks don’t pay attention to this but I will not buy a wheel that is not cert. Last time I checked RF was last year and they were not cert.

The other consideration (more relevant for track use) is Apex's 50%-off replacement policy
