Making my M4 jealous

Sold my 1990 325i and bought my 1st 911, a 2004 Carrera. Weighs only 2900 pounds, now when I get in my M4 vert it feels so heavy and ponderous....

Except for the fact I can put the roof down, I might never drive her again. (I don't need the space, don't drive with more than 2 people.

1st world problems

996s are so underrated, great Pcars. I have an F80 now because 4 doors but am constantly thinking about my sold 996 turbo. Still have a 996 gt3 in the family that I never get to drive

C'mon now. Show those dorky headlights...

Just playing. I like 996s too... even the headlights.

What does RS 3.6 mean? Those don’t look like the wheels and wheel gap from a grey market import 996 gt3 rs

Did you swap a Mezger into a base 911? Or is that a GT3 rebadged to Carerra to be more low key?

Or is this the porsche version of adding ///M stickers to a 320?

Congrats on the car

Inquiring minds want to know.

What does RS 3.6 mean? Car came with yellow stripes and that sticker, I took of the stripes but left the RS on to mess with people. It also came with Carrera RS floor mats.

Those don’t look like the wheels and wheel gap from a grey market import 996 gt3 rs No they are 19" Avant Garde Ruger Mesh Wheels

Did you swap a Mezger into a base 911? Ni, I wish...

Or is that a GT3 rebadged to Carerra to be more low key? No, again I wish. However, it is a factory installed aerokit

Or is this the porsche version of adding ///M stickers to a 320? More like the M badges added to a 340i, since the body kit is oem...adds 100hp though

Show those dorky headlights... Done!

Well that’s a fun toy. Has it had the IMS bearing upgrade? If not you might want to do that. You don’t want to be out $30k for a new engine.

So... factory aerokit and RS stickers on a stock base 911... can I call you mjposer from now on?

Just kidding around. That would be an amazing start point for a “spec 996” track car

I have a 6TT so it’s great to see another man of culture who can appreciate the fried egg front end

Its really not a toy, aI have been driving it to work and I could easily use as a daily (I drive solo, rarely even have passenger and frunk holds a bankers box if I need to bring work home.

IMS was done in 2013 and oil test came back clean.
