Walked around a G80 the other day.

It has got a very wide and square arse. Like, too square? IDK. Spongebob came to my mind

Just the ugliest damned cars I've ever seen. I'm not lying to you all, I've done everything I could to try and understand these cars and to somehow like them. Almost every day I look at pictures, I do a 360 of the car, I try to hype myself up to like it.

I cannot do it. It's the ugliest piece of shit I've ever seen in my life. It's not getting better, it's getting worse. There is not a single angle, or a single aspect of the car I like, it's horrendous. The designers who came up with this car could not possibly have made a more distasteful vehicle, it's flat out disgusting. Look at the wheel gap on that turd above and the ground clearance, you could fit a house under the car. How does that resemble or give the feeling of speed?

I hate to even keep stating this, but I'm honest to God trying to love the car because of the heritage and how I usually get each vehicle in this line. I simply cannot get myself to buy this thing, it's such a massive disappointment. Parking my current F82 next a new one in a dealer lot makes it even worse, I feel bad for the sales people who have tried to sell me the new car because they know it's no contest. Their job sucks right now, none of them have even had a good selling point! Start her up and listen to the motor was about the best line they could give me, they have no heart in selling this car and I don't blame them!

And to top it all off they put a 69 on it, classy.

Owner of the car is a "self-made millionaire" on IG and he loves to put a 69 on his cars to show how much poon he's not getting.

That car is awful. Looks like they locked the thread. Are the mods really deleting comments?

yes they deleted all negative comments which were not disrespectful just folks stating the fact it's ugly and that it is maybe a teenager driving it

A stock G82 showed up to my track day this past weekend. As it was tooling around the parking lot, when viewed from the side and then the rear I was trying to convince myself that I was starting to "get" the design language, but then it turned around and came back toward me. One glimpse of the front and I still really, really don't understand how this passed the initial design stages.

I just left Ontario Porsche…..

…I called prior to going and they told me a used 2021 992 Carmine Red Carrera showed up Wednesday or Thursday. I wanted to go test drive it since it had standard PASM and I'm still on the fence between PASM & SPASM. Anyway, as I am a block away from the dealer, I see the Carmine Red 992 pass me and I immediately said to myself, "Damn! That dude is going to buy that car before I can drive it." Ten minutes later the 992 pulls up and yep, it sold…….that fast. Sticker said $117k, but I'm sure it sold for a little more on top of that. I sat in it….and it was well kept with 1207 miles on it.

I test drove the PDK 992 C2S and C4S yesterday - all I can say is congratulations in advance. Both cars were absolutely brilliant.

Ok maybe I'm past bedtime for the night but this is the first M4 I've seen which I thought looked palatable. I like the two tone interior and that exterior color is very interesting, proper transmission included. This one also doesn't happen to look like a 4x4, maybe the color masks the gap better I dunno. I bet this was a special order car which the customer backed out on.

Notice no full on frontal shots either lol.

Get it as low as you can from factory and you'll be less inclined to mess with it later and if you still do, then the spasm dampers might be better matched for further lowering

Well said man. We want to like it, but the struggle is real. I drove the g82.
Can’t even see out of rear side windows. They are stupid high from the drivers POV.

Sure, the tires are tuned/developed for the G8X to take advantage of all of the tweaks made to the new car (…just as they were for the F8X, E9X, etc.), but it's not just tires.
We’ll get to learn more as more track tests get released, but the tires seem to be one of the biggest area of improvement of the G8X over the F8X. The stock tires of the F8X were its weakest point, putting good tires on the F8X completely transformed the car on track.

I have to say, S-PASM on my TT is quite stiff and can be jarring on bumpy roads, even in the "Normal" mode. My M4cs on MP-HAS felt more composed in the same setting.

I find even the sport suspension mode on my non S-PASM car to be overly stiff on regular roads.

In short, unless you are going to track the car, I don't know why anyone would get it.
