Just fyi for anyone interested, these have a finite shelf life of, i believe, 10 years and are easily available from IND. So, of you are in the market to buy this one, the price should be some fraction of the IND price depending on how old it is.

They only been out for like 5 years, so at least 5 years left on any that you see.

I'd be inclined to agree with you only if this one came off an EU GTS. The extinguisher is not a BMW part. The company that makes them, Gloria GmbH, has been making this exact model for quite a few years before they were included in the GTS.

You're 100% right. I'd add that fire extinguishers can be recharged so they're still not worthless even if 'expired'. But yeah, ideally asking price would factor in remaining shelf life and cost of recharging
