M4 GTS Drive Shaft Recall

Did all cars have to have the recall ?

The dealer I'm buying from says the car has passed it's AUC checks but just trying to clarify whether all cars needed it.

If so, I imagine the date of the recall would be on the BMW system ?

Think the dealer may get annoyed with my pedantic queries!!

I'm not 100% whether it was every single F80/F82 but I believe most were effected. The dealer should be able to see on a DCSnet inquiry whether it was done in the past, that'll come directly from a BMW dealership.

Thanks. The dealer indicated they were not sure but then I saw the reference in the service transcript.

So looks like all ok for my collection today!
