Thoughts on this M3 please

I've been looking for a loaded used M3 6MT comp pack. Came across this one. It has a minor damage reported on the Carfax and a bit more miles than I would like. Otherwise it's pretty tricked out. I got the price to $60k. He's taking off the updated 2018 headlights, built in radar detector and front/rear cameras - which I'm fine with.

I think this link is dead since the auction ended.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2017-BMW-M3...p2047675.l2557

Here are some highlights.
Up for sale is my SUPER RARE ONE OWNER 2017 BMW M3 Competition Package with 6 Speed Manual TRANS! I custom ordered this for lease with EVERY OPTION checked in the book window sticker ended up around 110K or so. Purchased it when the lease was over

Factory Options OVER $50K
Mineral Gray Exterior with Sakhir Orange Full Leather nterior
Driving Assistance Plus
Competition Package
Carbon Ceramic Brakes - $9500
Lighting Package
Manual Transmission
Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler - $800
Carbon Fiber Brake Handle
Carbon Fiber Door Pieces
Heated front and rear Seats
M Performance Interior Package - $3830
M Performance Package (adds M Performance Exhaust with Carbon Tips) - $9945
Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps - $1080
Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser - $1585
Apple CarPlay - $300
LED Door Projectors
Carbon FIber Front Lip Spoiler with Black Under Tray
M Performance Coilovers - $2200
Carbon Roof
2018 BMW M3 OEM Competition Package Wheels with NEW Michelin Pilot Sport 4 Tires - $8500
Window Tint all around including Windshield - $550
XPEL PPF on front of the car - $2500
Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel - $2000
It is IMPOSSIBLE to find any F80 M3 with 6 Speed and loaded up like this car. And with the way new M3/M4 are going, this will be a future classic.

FYI - Carfax shows "Damage Reported". Had a flat so ended up getting the car towed to a BMW Dealer and installed all four new tires right away.

definitely seems like the price is high but if you see all the options it has as things that you want/would have purchased anyway that definitely helps out on the price.

Listing all that stuff twice, why? And who lists OEM 666 wheels with a price? Did they not come with the car? I guess maybe just a way to inflate the perceived value of the car?

Weird listing all around if you ask me.

110k usd? Is that even possible?

Only issue I'd have is CCB. The fact that it comes with all that m performance shit is huge

How many miles?

Priced high and as F80er mentioned, the owner is adding 'prices' to justify his asking price. Over 65k is not worth it imo

When the damage was done, he bought 2018 OEM wheels in black with new tires.

I think he came up to $110k with factory build sheet MSRP $94k - CCB's and all the carbon bits. He then added the BMW Performance Exhaust and coil overs.

The car has 35k miles.

60k for a pre LCI ? You're gonna lose a lot of money on that in a few years I assumed the mileage would be very low, that's high miles. The more time goes on the less the original MSRP matters.

If you got a stripper G80 for 70k right now it would probably be worth way more than that f80 in a few years so you'd end up actually being better off just getting a brand new g80 lol.

Yeah, I kind of think the price is a bit high for the miles too. However, it's super highly optioned with a bunch of nice upgrades. Maybe that's blinding my judgment some.

F the msrp and options you can get a 2018 with lower miles.

New iDrive, better headlights, random LCI stuff and most importantly it'll hold value better because of the LCI. Don't overpay for some m performance stuff. You can get m performance replicas to your liking for good prices.

Plus CCB are stupidly expensive to replace

OP I will sell you my 18 6MT ZCP, extended leather, exec - 1 owner w/27K and an accident on the car fax (dumbass sideswiped my drivers side rear door and fender). Have pics of damage and lifetime warranty on repairs from my local (MD) BMW dealer. $60K and I will leave the akrapovic exhaust on it (along with MPerf rear diffuser, side skirts and front splitters).

Come take it off my hands for a song.

I appreciate the offer. I'm really looking for a fully loaded car. Full leather, rear shades and all packages. Don't really need CCB's, but I assume they can't hurt for resale.

Valid points.

I've been searching for about 6 weeks. I know a car will pop up eventually. Pretty picky on the options I want.

I'm also in the process of selling my 991 which adds a bit of pressure.

My car has rear shades and full leather (even though I said extended) as well. It even has blind sport warning, latest LEDs and the only thing it doesn't have is CCBs.

What 'all packages' are you looking for because there really aren't that many to be had to begin with.

I decided to pass on this 2017 car. I have time to find a better option. I hate to compromise.

Good choice. You should be getting a 2018 with less than 20k miles for the same money

Yeah, agreed. Found one that was so close to what I want.

2018, 13k miles @ $58k from a BMW dealer. Only missing full leather.

BTW - I have a 991.1 S cab for sale. Loaded PDK with 29k miles.

Ok, may have found my car. 2018 CPO M3 Comp 6MT. All the right options plus some carbon bits. Only thing missing is the MPE.

MSRP $84k and 18k miles dealer asking $62.9. Looking to get it for $59.9. We'll see.

Silverstone on silverstone full leather. Not my first choice, but looks pretty sweet.

If all goes well I'll wrap the deal up tomorrow.

Spoke to the manager this morning. We agreed on $61k flat. I can live with that. Finalizing the paperwork today and I already have a shipper ready to pick it up Monday.
