Active Sound delete impressions

I personally never had an issue with the concept of active sound. Everything on a modern bmw is fake. Dampers are electronically modulated, throttle by wire, exhaust etc.

However I finally tried it with active sound off via jb4. Sounds a million times better. I have MPE and bmc filters. It sounds much more inline6 M car . So I just think bmw did a poor job with the sound of active sound, not the concept. Amplify a better sounding sound and I'd be on it like white on rice. I'm now enjoying screaming in line 6 sound. Yum.

I have plans to buy F80 next year and my first "mod" will be to disable the fake (sorry, ummmm, I meant "active") sound.

Disable active sound, disconnect exhaust valve thingy. Both on my list.
