Also got a bunch of other errors, trunk wont open (battery is full and plugged into a charger) with keyfob or the button on the inside of the cabin. It's not in valet mode so thats not the problem. Instrument cluster says I have no gas when its a full tank, getting a system light error, hearing a loud blowing sound under the hood when ignition is on. Windows wont do their lowering and closing when you open and close the door, so the door wont close all the way or if I roll the window down the gap wont close.

The negative was disconnected for install, followed everything perfectly and all the connections were solid.

If there is anyone that can help me with any information that would be amazing.
Sounds like either CAN wires are reversed or connectors are not pushed/locked into the FEM_BODY module. Double check work to be 100% certain.

Hi I’ve found this install as the gauge I’ve just fitted to my f30 diesel came with no instructions at all. I followed this guide as it seemed genuine .
https://www.vividracing.com/productdocs/F3xDGA_Installation_Guide_EN_may2016.pdf

It seems different to the guide here ? I used con2 con3 and con 10
My gauge is displaying beautifully but I am missing boost,hp, torque.
I’m trying to decide what to do next. Do
I take apart the car again and follow
Your guides here instead ? Any help would be great 👍

False alarm my guide was correct for my car and the missing values worked as soon as the car started moving . Odd but that’s how they work . Said I’d update with my findings in case anyone else is in the same boat .

I'm sorry to bump such an old post. But I am wondering if anyone installed this on a different spot of the car. Not the AC vents, I would love to get this but I am not willing to give out a AC vent because when it gets hot around here... It's gets hot lol.
Thank you

The cold air doesn't disappear, it will direct to the remaining vent.

I know that but loosing a vent that directs air to you (in case if I have a passenger in the car) it doesn't seem to be worth it for me. (I am being picky lol) but I would love to get this if I am able to install it somewhere else.

Awron closed its doors quite some time ago. Displays are no longer available.

I may have found a Awron vent gauge (for the F87C) and a used EWC for controlling the exhaust, but I don't have directions for the EWC, does anyone have one floating around?

Awron started locking down the displays to vehicle type, meaning a F87 will likely not work with M3/M4.

The EVC control was an unlockable (at a additional cost) feature in the display, no external hardware was needed as it was all handed within the display.

All good. I found a f87 display. I am trying to source instructions for connecting it with the evc.

I appreciate your input, I know you guys installed a lot of these.

Finally had time to tie AIM Solo DL2 to my F87 Canbus and make a video to help others who plan to do the same:
