First Comparison Look at BMW M4 versus Lexus RC F

RC F looks like it has more than a couple of design cues from the GT-R

Not feeling the Lexus as it looks overdone, way too busy of an exterior design and the interior dash looks bland but I do like the cluster and seats, The one thing I do like is the V8 480hp engine. I'm also not 100% sold on the M4, I'm not a fan of the nose treatment and there is not enough performance gains to buy my intrest at this point. However it will be good to have a comparison test of these two cars when they are released. The Lexus hp looks promising vs the M3/M4 but power to weight might play a huge part in the outcome on the track and 1/4 mile.

I just couldn't own that Lexus with that styling! As far as the hp ratings go, lets wait until both cars are tested by numerous sources. BMW figures are usually understated whereas Lexus is likely the opposite. I bet when it is all said and done, the M3/M4 will toast the opposition. Yes, I know, I am a BMW fanboy. At the end of the day, breeding counts.

carbon-fiber trim, Alcantara accents, sport bucket seats etc. - look at the details!!!

I don't mind the front end. It's the back end of the Lexus that doesn't look on the same par as the BMW.

Overall, the Lexus looks sportier but the BMW looks more like a distinguished automobile.

But might the Lexus be considerably cheaper after you have to tick off all of those option boxes with the M3/M4

I like the rc-f... Bold sure but I'll definitely give it a test drive. I didn't read all the details but is the transmission just a carry over of the 8 spd or has it been revamped?

Wow the only thing I really like about this new Lexus is their placement of the cup holders! Friend of mine has an IS250 and I hate where they are on his car, but it seems like they finally fixed it. But my vote is M4 > RC-F without a doubt.

Not to be bias, but the Lexus is hideous! It looks like a cheap typical Japanese knock off of the BMW M4. I see so many resemblances and it's not the first time for Lexus has done this either. All the lines of the BMW are exaggerated on the Lexus.
