If your going to modify I would look at a bootmod3 great tuning platform and for £400 best money I've spent

Seconded. And 30 seconds to return to stock & relock the ECU prior to a dealer visit. If that's a concern...

Gonna take the time to reccomend Alex@Alpine for tuning as well, price is similar(400-600 range depending on if there's an active sale) and I've had nothing but good experiences with Alex. His tune's thread in the engine/tuning section basically has 32 pages of nonstop praise, all of it well deserved.

does that mean it has standard M4 CP settings that you can flash it back to before dealer service, etc (so for example i have the GTS tune currently, so could put it back to default it needed then reapply the gts flash post dealer visit)

sorry numb question but total nood to bm3 stuff

thanks

It means exactly that, yes. You can even re-lock the ECU when you do it if you so wish.

Indeed. It is a good tune & you'd be happy.
I had it for over a year, just fancied BM3 due to the the added flexibility.
Having had both, back-to-back, my preference is BM3.

I have no bias - I have paid for both, and can still use either, indefinitely. Just MHO. Check my previous BM3 review thread if you want to know more. Link below...

Asked my SA and he told me straight up they know if bm3 is being used and will void the warranty. He said JB4 is fine but def not bm3. Seeing these posts makes me confused and makes me sad. So many different answers to the same question.

I didn't want to get into too much detail with him why jb4 is ok etc. I'm not that close to the guy. Perhaps you have to be?

Ya on the dyno made 8 as in eight HP more. ESS made close to claimed at 537 hp on normal pump fuel at sea level.

If you're interested PM me. Its a back box. Also on M3 F80 vs Ferrari 458 the M3 destroyed it.
